​TIME COMMITMENT

TIME COMMITMENT EXPECTATIONS

 

The time commitment expectation for our students is as follows:

  • Two-day orientation prior to the start of the 9th grade school year

  • Monthly face-to-face meetings with Leadership Launch staff (generally after school or evening)

  • A monthly homework assignment related to leadership, goals, education, or similar topics

  • Bi-weekly electronic or telephonic accountability sessions to check in on academic and leadership goal progression (generally after school or evening)

  • A quarterly event, such as a college tour and sporting event, a tour of a business, or other group activity (generally evening or weekend)

  • A Community Passion Project (time required will vary upon the project)

  • Monthly meeting with a mentor (to be decided between the student and mentor)

  • An end-of-the-year celebration and family BBQ

  • Additional support on an as-needed basis
